PJ Garcia coaches baseball the way it's supposed to be taught: fundamentals first, effort every rep, and no shortcuts around the hard part.
With the Pittsburg High staff he works hitters on approach, thought process, and situational at-bats — the stuff that separates a kid who swings from a hitter who competes. Defensively he lives in the dirt: footwork, hands, angles, arm slots, and the game-speed reads that turn routine plays into automatic ones.
On the travel side he runs the Hooks. As Program Director for ZT Prospects Hooks he takes Northern California players to national stages — 2026 Perfect Game 12U Invitational Champions, PG Super Regionals in Houston, Beast East in Panama City Beach, Cooperstown. Same standard at every level: show up, work, represent your name.
You don't get better by beating people you should beat. You get better by lining up across from someone who makes you uncomfortable — every practice, every rep, every at-bat.

High school development with the Pirates staff at Joseph P. Arenivar Stadium. Summer workouts, hitting and infield camps, and the accountability that carries past the last out.
Come ready to hit, field, throw, and run. Bring your own gear and get there fifteen minutes before your age slot. Nothing to prepare — just show up and compete.
